After over 50 years of allowing two free checked bags, Southwest Airlines has announced a significant change to its baggage policy. Starting May 28, 2025, the airline will implement checked baggage fees for many passengers. Here’s what you need to know:

**Fun Fact:** The classic novel, **"The Great Gatsby"** turns 100 this April! To honor this milestone, Louisville’s historic Seelbach Hotel has unveiled the **new Gatsby Suite**, inspired by the iconic characters and settings from F. Scott Fitzgerald's masterpiece.

The Gatsby Suite is a two-room haven, designed to reflect the opulence and contrasting worlds of Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan. The **Daisy-inspired bedroom** exudes the elegance of old money with lavish yet delicate décor, featuring gold peacock table lamps, a 1920s Victorian settee, and a vintage phone adorned with a string of pearls.

Step into the **Gatsby Lounge**, and you'll be transported to the lavish lifestyle of new money. Plush velvet armchairs, an Art Deco dresser turned mini-bar, and a stunning three-tiered crystal chandelier create an over-the-top ambiance.
